Good all purpose EDC. The D2 steel takes and holds a good sharp edge that you can depend on. The bearing pivot blade is smooth as silk and it locks up tight with a solid liner lock. Not heavy enough to weight your pocket down and has a deep carry clip. Check out the specs; it's just as described. This well made tool is worth a bit more than it's asking price.
Really like the idea the blade is D2, spent 40 years in the tool and die business I know all about the properties of D2.
I have a pretty large collection of knives, and recently started picking up a few from this maker. This one in particular (Elf 3.5") has an exceptionally well tuned opening, as in the pressure required is enough to prevent accidental opening but not so much that it is overly stiff. The bias to close is also very tight, and once it is closed it is seated nearly perfected with no outward play. The blade is also perfectly centered on my unit (I'm sure there is variance, but mine was nuts on). It isn't overly heavy, but isn't so light that it would feel cheap or anything. This thing is on par with a few of my favorites from more expensive and established brands.
Another quality well built product at a great price.!
The knife is very nice. A gentlemen's knife. The only down I have is the pocket clip is a tad small for me. It works as intended however I use the clip part as a guide to open the knife upon draw. It works perfectly and looks great!
